Christian Eriksen

Denmark national team is one of traditional and successful national teams in Europe that is governed by Denmark Football Association. The team once won European Nations Cup which has been changed European Football Championship since 1968. It is qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and will play games in Group C with France, Peru, Australia national teams.

In order to play friendly matches with Panama and Chile in late March, 2018, Denmark national team announced the latest line-up, including Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eriksen, Nicklas Bendtner, Kasper Schmeichel and so on.

Christian Eriksen was born on 14 February 1992 in Middelfart, Denmark. An attacking midfielder for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and Denmark national team, Eriksen transferred to Tottenham Hotspur on 30 August 2013 and made his debut for his country in March 2010. He became the youngest player of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, aged 18 years and four moths.

In 2013-14 season, Eriksen scored 12 goals and had 16 assists during his 41 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur. In 2015-16 season, he helped the club win the game against Sunderland AFC and got the runner-up of Football League Cup, one of the three top-tier domestic football competitions in England, alongside Premier League and FA Cup.

Eriksen has played for Denmark U-17, U-18 and U-19 national teams. On 15 November 2017, he completed a “hat trick” in a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Ireland national team, helping Denmark become the 30th team to qualify for the World Cup held in 2018.

A talented footballer, he has got the Danish U-17 Talent of the Year award in 2008, Danish Talent of the Year award in 2010 and 2011 and Tottenham Hotspur Player of the Year award in the 2013-14 and 2016-17 seasons.

Nicklas Bendtner

Nicklas Bendtner was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on January 16, 1988. As an excellent Danish forward, he is playing for a Norwegian club Rosenborg and the Denmark national football team. Besides the position of striker, Nicklas Bendtner also took the position of center-forward, right side of attack and occasionally on the left side. In addition to large, tall and strong figure of him, the footballer is also renowned for his outstand performance on sports field.

After making progresses in the ranking at Tårnby Boldklub, Kjøbenhavns Boldklub and Arsenal, Bendtner reached a professional contract with club Arsenal in 2005. In 2005, he accomplished the first appearance in a competition against Sunderland. In 2006-07 season, he was loaned to Championship club Birmingham City, in which he played 48 matches. After return to Arsenal, he has been a regular football player of the world-class football club. In 2006, he earned his first cap for previous outstanding performances on football fields. From then on, he gradually step onto the international arena.

Andreas Christensen

Andreas Christensen was born in Lillerød, Denmark on Apr. 10, 1996. Not only is he playing for English club Chelsea, but also he is playing for the Denmark national football team. He, the son of previous Brøndby IF goalkeeper Sten Christensen, began his football learning when he was young. Having spent eight springs and autumns there, his outstanding performances attract the attentions of some European famous football club, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich.

Prior to the departure of André Villas-Boas, Andreas Christensen has reached an agreement with the Chelsea for free. After becoming a member of London side, he said that the manner and style of Chelsea is the critical factor attracting him. He became the number one having been inducted into the senior team. In 2014, he accomplished his first appearance in a competition between Chelsea and Shrewsbury Town. In 2015, Christensen has appeared in a competition of Denmark national football team as a footballer.

Simon Kjær

Simon Kjær was born in Horsens, Denmark on Mar. 26, 1989. As an excellent professional footballer for Sevilla of Spain and the Denmark national football team, he served for many football clubs successively, such as FC Midtjylland, Palermo, VfL Wolfsburg, Roma, Wolfsburg, Lille OSC, Fenerbahçe and Sevilla. He started his football playing career from Lund IF, a small-time club in the vicinity of Horsens. He appeared in a match for senior team of Midtjylland in 2006. For outstanding performances and unparalleled talents in football, he was promoted to the first team in 2007.

In 2013, he transferred to Lille OSC by a four-year contract with Lille OSC. For outstanding performances and great achievements with the football club, he became one of the most popular footballers and attracted attentions from all over the world, including thousands of loyal football fans and spectators. In addition, Kjær participated in a competition on behalf of Denmark for the first time in 2006 aged 17.

William Kvist

William Kvist was born in Odder, Denmark on Feb. 24, 1985. Played as a professional defensive midfielder for club Copenhagen and Denmark national football team, he amassed four goals in 43 games for many youth teams, growing into an excellent footballer in the sphere of football. When he was five years old, he started learning football at a local football club Thorsager Rønde IF, receiving systemic trainings and practical skills. Then he moved to the Copenhagen and played for the Danish youth national teams in 2000 for the first time.


For outstanding performances on football fields, he was named to the first team of F.C. Copenhagen. In 2014, he joined in Club Fulham of English Premier League, sparing no efforts to his team on football fields. At the same year, he signed a one-year agreement with the Wigan Athletic. In 2015, he participated in a competition against FC Nordsjælland on behalf of the F.C. Copenhagen in the place of injured Ole Tobiasen.  In 2007, he capped for the Denmark national football team for the first time in a friendly tour of the United States.

Lasse Schöne

Lasse Schöne was born in Glostrup, Denmark on May 27, 1986. Played as an excellent professional footballer for Ajax and the Denmark national football team, he experienced his whole club career with with De Graafschap, NEC and Ajax, accumulating more than 60 goals. He started his football playing career when he was young. In 2008, he signed a contract with NEC. In the same year, he scored the winning goals for NEC, helping the team through to the next round. In 2015, he became a professional football player of of Ajax by a three-year contract. From then on, he started playing for Ajax and joined the team with many football players, such as Michael Laudrup, a model throughout his football career.

In 2001, he won a goal in a match where he played for the Denmark national under-16 team for the first time. Then he also played for Denmark at U17 and U18 levels. For outstanding performances in competition, he was promoted to the Denmark senior team in a friendly against Chile. In the period, he equalized the goals in a 1-2 loss at the Brøndby Stadium.
