Simon Kjær was born in Horsens, Denmark on Mar. 26, 1989. As an excellent professional footballer for Sevilla of Spain and the Denmark national football team, he served for many football clubs successively, such as FC Midtjylland, Palermo, VfL Wolfsburg, Roma, Wolfsburg, Lille OSC, Fenerbahçe and Sevilla. He started his football playing career from Lund IF, a small-time club in the vicinity of Horsens. He appeared in a match for senior team of Midtjylland in 2006. For outstanding performances and unparalleled talents in football, he was promoted to the first team in 2007.
In 2013, he transferred to Lille OSC by a four-year contract with Lille OSC. For outstanding performances and great achievements with the football club, he became one of the most popular footballers and attracted attentions from all over the world, including thousands of loyal football fans and spectators.
