William Kvist was born in Odder, Denmark on Feb. 24, 1985. Played as a professional defensive midfielder for club Copenhagen and Denmark national football team, he amassed four goals in 43 games for many youth teams, growing into an excellent footballer in the sphere of football. When he was five years old, he started learning football at a local football club Thorsager Rønde IF, receiving systemic trainings and practical skills. Then he moved to the Copenhagen and played for the Danish youth national teams in 2000 for the first time.
For outstanding performances on football fields, he was named to the first team of F.C. Copenhagen. In 2014, he joined in Club Fulham of English Premier League, sparing no efforts to his team on football fields. At the same year, he signed a one-year agreement with the Wigan Athletic. In 2015, he participated in a competition against FC Nordsjælland on behalf of the F.C. Copenhagen in the place of injured Ole Tobiasen. In 2007, he capped for the Denmark national football team for the first time in a friendly tour of the United States.
